Jones Day advised Allergan, Inc., a multi-specialty health care company focused on developing and commercializing pharmaceuticals, biologics and medical devices, in its acquisition of Serica Technologies, Inc., a developer of silk-based biomaterials for the aesthetic and reconstructive surgery market, from Ivy Capital Partners, Morningside Technology Ventures, and Prism VentureWorks.
