Jones Day partner Cristina Pérez Soto named to Global Investigations Review's 2025 "Women in Investigations"

Global Investigations Review has named Jones Day's Cristina Pérez Soto to its 2025 special survey of "Women in Investigations." The survey names 100 lawyers, corporate counsel, barristers, and government enforcers working in the field of white-collar crime and investigations.

A partner in the Firm's Investigations & White Collar Practice, Ms. Pérez Soto advises clients on complex and novel problems related to criminal and civil litigation. Clients have trusted her to lead bet-the-company matters where her advocacy skills and personal credibility with law enforcement, regulators, and judges were key to resolving difficult disputes and issues.

Ms. Pérez Soto has extensive experience advising clients across nearly every country in the Americas. In recent years, she has successfully obtained a favorable resolution in challenging criminal and regulatory matters in Uruguay and Bolivia, and led a team that resolved a multi-jurisdictional dispute over a family business dissolution, which included separate matters in Florida, California and Australia. In addition, she continues to provide ongoing compliance and regulatory counseling to multiple public companies, often including undertaking reviews of compliance processes and risks analysis for boards of directors or their committees.

Ms. Pérez Soto maintains an active pro bono practice and co-leads Jones Day's Firmwide Hispanic Lawyers Group.
