Gurneet Singh recognized for Corporate Responsibility by South Asian Bar Association of Northern California

Gurneet Singh is the recipient of the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California 2024 "Corporate Responsibility Award." The award recognizes exemplary efforts and contributions in promoting diversity and inclusion, and signifies the awardee's commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

As a Board Director of the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California, Mr. Singh spearheads its in-house section, frequently bringing together in-house trailblazers to make the community more cohesive. He has also helped organize judicial events featuring prominent federal and state judges, and assisted with pro-bono initiatives of the organization.

A patent lawyer in Jones Day's Intellectual Property Practice and based in the Firm's Silicon Valley Office, Mr. Singh has more than 10 years of experience in intellectual property matters involving complex technological areas. His practice focuses on patent litigation in federal courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He has also managed, supervised, and handled development of global patent portfolios, and has drafted and successfully prosecuted hundreds of patent applications. Mr. Singh has analyzed patent portfolios for due diligence purposes, drafted several freedom-to-operate and patentability opinions, and counseled on open-source software issues.
