Stefanie Stöhr has more than 20 years of experience with cross-border and domestic M&A, venture capital, and private equity investments. Her recent transactions include advising Celonis SE in connection with their series C financing round (US$290 million), btov Partners in their investment in Cybus GmbH, and Findos Investor in the acquisition of the worldwide business operations of Röder HTS Höcker GmbH.
In addition to providing transaction-related advice to corporate and commercial clients, Stefanie focuses on IT and data protection law. She has a profound knowledge of innovative technologies and is a member of Jones Day's Blockchain Initiative. Stefanie acted as external counsel to salesforce.com, one of the world's leading SaaS providers, for several years and gained deep insight into the legal challenges that clients active in the cloud computing area are facing. She also has worked extensively in Japan and recently advised a Japanese mobile communications company in connection with their IT outsourcing project.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2006, Stefanie co-founded a Germany-based law firm with offices in Munich, Düsseldorf, and Tokyo; was a partner in an international, Germany-based law firm; and practiced as a lawyer in the tax department of PwC.
