Helen Scott represents employers of all sizes and advises on the full range of employment law issues. She regularly advises employers on transactional matters, particularly in respect of mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, commercial property transactions, outsourcing, and the transfer of undertakings. Her practice covers all aspects of employment law, including handling sensitive management departures, advising on restrictive covenants and team moves, and navigating performance issues and disciplinary investigations. She also represents employers in respect of claims issued before the Employment Tribunals.
Helen has advised a range of clients, including Verizon, Cardinal Health, Greystar Real Estate Partners, The Riverside Company, True Capital, ACI Worldwide, Hansteen Holdings PLC, Daniel J. Edelman, and Palantir. Recent transactions include advising Shiseido America on the sale of its RéVive Skincare brand, L1 Retails' acquisition of Holland & Barrett, and Henderson Park on its acquisition of London and Birmingham Hilton Metropole hotels.
Helen also maintains an active pro bono practice. She leads a team of Jones Day volunteers that provide employment advice to employees affected by cancer through Macmillan Cancer Support.
