Emilie Ry Schou's competition law experience includes merger control at the EU and national levels. She has assisted in cross-border mergers involving several sectors, including energy, hydraulics, as well as industrial chemicals and minerals. She also has advised clients on potential cartel and abuse of dominance issues, primarily in the tech and semiconductor sectors. In addition, Emilie has assisted clients from the telecommunications industry on EU law and regulatory issues.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Emilie worked at the European Commission and at a European IP-focused law firm.
