Greyson Lambert joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2022. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Greyson clerked for Judge Walter W. Davis at the Georgia State-wide Business Court. Before attending law school, Greyson earned a football scholarship to attend the University of Virginia, where he played quarterback and started a total of nine games and was named Team Captain during his sophomore season. Greyson later transferred to the University of Georgia, where he earned his master's degree in sports management, while starting a total of 13 games and serving on the team's Leadership Council. While at Georgia, Greyson set multiple passing records, most notably an NCAA, Southeastern Conference (SEC), and school record for completion percentage in a single game — a record that stands to this day. Greyson also signed with the Texas Rangers as a pitcher in 2017 and played one season for the Texas Rangers' Rookie Team prior to entering law school.
Greyson also has an avid interest in esports, and volunteers for Ghost Gaming, an Atlanta-based esports organization.
