Grace Kemp is a projects lawyer focusing on complex, multisource debt and equity financings of energy transition and infrastructure projects across the United Kingdom and internationally. Grace acts for lenders, developers, and sponsors on the full project life cycle, including development and construction financings, acquisition financings, refinancings, and project development.

Grace supports clients and stakeholders in navigating complex bankability, structuring, and regulatory challenges, delivering project finance solutions that support the global energy transition and major infrastructure investment. Grace has experience in a range of asset classes, including battery energy storage systems, anaerobic digestion, solar, and infrastructure (including water and utilities).

Grace has advised on the refinancing of a £315 million debt financing package for a UK-based clean energy developer and power producer. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2026, Grace advised developers with private equity sponsorship on the development and financing of four anaerobic digestion plants in the United Kingdom; acted for syndicates of commercial banks on £235 million construction financing of two utility-scale battery storage projects developed by Zenobē in Scotland; advised a developer on the development, project financing, and subsequent sale of its 249MW energy park; and acted for an international private equity firm in relation to a minority share purchase of a major utilities company in the United Kingdom.
