Denita Kiya advises public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions, such as affiliations and joint ventures. She counsels clients in a range of industries, including health care, real estate, life sciences, e-commerce, and fintech. She also has experience advising companies on corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Representative matters include BioMarin Pharmaceutical in its acquisition of Alesta Therapeutics and Verily Health in its spin-out from Alphabet, Inc.

Denita maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients seeking habeas relief and partnering with community organizations to help survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking secure lasting relief and other significant resources.
