Edouard Fortunet practices intellectual property law, advising national and international clients in the high-tech, biotech, and wine and spirit sectors. He assists clients in litigation matters; in activities relating to protecting, creating, enhancing, and enforcing IP rights; and on the IP aspects of IPOs, private placements, and cross-border M&A transactions.
Edouard regularly advises clients on domestic and cross-jurisdictional cease and desist efforts against alleged infringers and represents clients in opposition, cancellation, and infringement proceedings.
In the transactional area, Edouard has been involved in the IP aspects of numerous IPOs. He has worked on several complex French and international M&A transactions.
Edouard is particularly involved in the life science and pharmaceutical industries and is part of our multidisciplinary team to anticipate and respond to the new challenges facing this sector. He has represented major manufacturers, distributors, and users of medical devices, products and services in transactional, regulatory, enforcement, and litigation matters in the life science area.
Edouard is a member of APRAM, INTA, AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property), and AIDV (International Wine Law Association).
