Sophie Dijkmans's practice focuses on domestic and international M&A for public and private companies, private equity transactions, general corporate governance issues, and the formation and structuring of business entities.

Sophie's recent experience includes advising Total on the sale of its chemical division Atotech to The Caryle Group (US$3.2 billion), Hermes Microvision on its sale to ASML Holding in an all cash transaction (US$3.1 billion), NEP Group on its acquisition of Consolidated Media Industries, a major oil & gas service provider on the disposal of a subsidiary in Oman, and a Gulf-based investment group on a multimillion dollar investment in an oil & gas exploration project in Europe.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2015, Sophie served several internships with top-tier international law firms.
