Alexandre de Verdun has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of private M&A and private equity. He has extensive experience in complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions involving strategic investors and investment funds.

His experience also includes the setting up of joint ventures, strategic alliances, strategic outsourcings, the reorganization or restructuring of groups, and more generally, complex commercial and industrial contracts. Alexandre is active in the mining and energy sectors, including the oil and gas industry. He has participated in various major projects in the field of LNG and has notably advised EDF as part of the construction of the LNG terminal in Dunkirk, one of the largest in Europe. In addition, he has extensive knowledge of aeronautics, aerospace, and defense.

Featured among his most recent deals are the disposal by Société Générale of Croatia-based Splitska Banka to OTP Bank, the sale by Areva of the Canberra group to Mirion-Charterhouse (detection equipment manufacture and protection against radioactivity), the acquisition by Calgon Carbon Corporation of the Filters and Coals assets of the Arkema group, the acquisition of Speedy by Bridgestone Europe NV/SA (network of 480 points of sale), and the acquisition by Total Marketing Services of a 70 percent stake in V Energy (network of service stations in the Dominican Republic).
