Maren maintains an active pro bono practice and dedicates her time to serving through Jones Day's Border Project in Laredo, Texas and representing migrants seeking asylum status. She volunteers with Jones Day's initiative to combat human trafficking and is involved in organizing the Start Anew Clinic in Houston, Texas, which provides resources to meet the immediate needs of survivors of trafficking and domestic violence.
