Liv Ashill's practice encompasses UK and international M&A, equity investment/fundraising, joint ventures, and reorganizations in the energy transition and decarbonization sector. Her experience includes a range of clean energy technologies, including solar, wind (onshore and offshore), battery storage, waste to energy, and e-mobility.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Liv worked on several matters for Circtec Limited, including a $75 million Series A equity fundraising to fund the construction of its pioneering tire pyrolysis plant in the Netherlands to produce sustainable drop in fuels and circular chemicals. She also assisted Connected Kerb Limited in connection with its £55 million fundraising from National Wealth Fund to fund its EV (electric vehicle) infrastructure rollout activities in the United Kingdom (together with an additional £10 million from its existing investor, Aviva Investors). In addition, she assisted on matters for Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (establishing its UK battery storage platform, Pulse Clean Energy Limited) and advised BNRG Limited and Landlink Estates Limited on a disposal of a UK-based solar portfolio.
