Worthington Mid-Rise Construction engages in mediation and arbitration with general contractor over construction of new mid-rise condominium complex

Client(s) Worthington Mid-Rise Construction, Inc.

Jones Day represented Worthington Mid-Rise Construction, Inc., a subsidiary of Worthington Industries, as a light gauge structural framing subcontractor in a AAA mediation related to the construction of a mid-rise condominium complex in Seattle, Washington. Worthington claimed the general contractor failed to pay Worthington the entire contract price of approximately $5.5 million and caused delay of and interference with Worthington's work on the project. The general contractor alleged that the Worthington caused delay, interference and impact on other subcontractors on the project.
