Client(s) DIRECTV, Inc.

Jones Day served as lead counsel for defendants DIRECTV and SAS Institute in a patent infringement action related to a system for communicating over the internet and through a firewall utilizing SOAP protocol. The Firm successfully obtained a dismissal for DIRECTV. An outcome is pending as to SAS.
