Matthew Peel has joined the Firm as a partner in the Real Estate Practice, based in the London Office.

Mr. Peel has a broad, multidisciplinary real estate practice, having acted for a range of clients from listed property companies, developers, operators, private equity, mainstream and alternative lenders, and investment managers across all asset classes. Examples of his work include acting for more than a decade on an important Central London development above the Crossrail station at Bond Street, including a joint venture with a sovereign fund.

His work in this area includes leading a multidisciplinary team on the UK's largest single asset acquisition and acting for the borrower on the largest single asset financing. Mr. Peel also has deep experience in setting up and implementing operating platforms in this sector and is a founding member of the Association of Retirement Community Operators' Advisory Council. He is noted as a "next generation partner" in the Legal 500.
