Carolyn Woodson is an experienced litigator who represents clients in high-stakes litigation pending in federal and state courts and ADR forums. She advises clients from a broad spectrum of industries, including consumer products, pharmaceuticals, credit reporting, railroad, telecommunications, financial services, construction, and entertainment. Carolyn's practice focuses on business disputes, class action defense, and insurance coverage.

Carolyn represents clients in a variety of complex business disputes and maintains an active class action practice. She has defended cases seeking billions of dollars in damages and alleging class action claims involving data security, unfair competition, labor and employment, false advertising, and antitrust allegations.

Carolyn's insurance practice emphasis is on representing policyholders in insurance recovery and bad faith litigation. She has helped clients recover hundreds of millions of dollars for insurance claims involving various types of coverage, such as general liability, professional liability, product liability, property, and municipal liability.

Carolyn has been repeatedly recognized as a "Rising Star" by the publishers of Los Angeles magazine and as a "Top 40 Insurance Lawyer Under 40" in California by the American Society of Legal Advocates. She is a former co-chair of the American Bar Association Business Torts, Fraud Subcommittee and is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
