Jones Day associate Andrew Bjorklund named to Pittsburgh Business Times' 2026 "30 Under 30" list
Jones Day associate Drew Bjorklund has been named to the 2026 class of "30 Under 30," which the Pittsburgh Business Times presents in partnership with Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. Winners are selected for their successful efforts to grow a business or nonprofit and for their contributions to the community and civic organizations.
Mr. Bjorklund's practice focuses on antitrust and financial matters in complex disputes. He has helped achieve successes for clients across a wide range of commercial litigation, often leading the writing and argument on key pretrial motions in state and federal courts. Notably, he led the defense of a client in obtaining a full defense decision as lead counsel in a trial court case. He has also built a pro bono practice helping crime victims secure court-ordered restitution under federal law, managing a nationwide docket of cases for a survivor of child sexual exploitation and helping obtain approximately $1.6 million in judgments to date. Mr. Bjorklund also has led teams to secure permanent legal residency for an asylum client and to achieve favorable resolutions in the local federal court's mediation program for unrepresented litigants.
Beyond his casework, Mr. Bjorklund invests in the Pittsburgh community through service and mentorship. He volunteers with Orchard Hill Church in the Strip District, most recently mentoring middle school students; supports legal education as a witness role-player for Duquesne University School of Law's deposition course and as a grader for the Western Pennsylvania YMCA Youth & Government brief-writing competition; volunteered with the Start Anew Clinic at The Pittsburgh Foundation; and contributed to the 2023 Eradicate Hate Global Summit.
