Sophie Sievert-Kloster advises global and domestic clients on complex commercial disputes and regulatory investigations in a range of jurisdictions, including superior state courts and the Federal Court of Australia.
Sophie's recent experience includes the defense of a high-profile shareholder class action, a contentious investigation by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, and various multimillion dollar commercial disputes in the technology, infrastructure, and financial services sectors. With a background in European policy and law, Sophie brings an international, multilingual perspective to her practice and regularly considers cross-border risk and the implications of developments in other jurisdictions, particularly in the ESG (environmental, social, and governance) space.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Sophie was a trainee at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France.
