Olivier Verhasselt advises national and international clients on the full range of EU technology, data protection, and digital regulatory matters.
Olivier's practice spans key legislative frameworks, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Data Governance Act (DGA), Data Act (DA), Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act), Digital Services Act (DSA), Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), Network and Information Security Directive 2 (NIS 2), and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). He works closely with multinational organizations across diverse industries, including technology, cybersecurity, cloud computing, life sciences, health care, financial services, and automotive, advising on noncontentious and contentious regulatory matters.
Before joining Jones Day in 2026, Olivier gained experience in the tech & commercial team at a Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg) law firm in Brussels.
