Ana María Fernández Rionda's practice includes general corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions for domestic and multinational companies, cross-border transactions, restructuring of corporate groups, joint ventures, and other forms of business cooperation. In addition, she has particular experience in foreign investment.

Ana María's representative transactions include Ventura Capital Privado's acquisition of Maxcom, Sherwin-Williams acquisition of the U.S./Canada business of Comex for US$165 million, Grupo Gigante's acquisition of the remaining 50 percent stake of Office Depot de Mexico for US$690 million, and PolyOne Corporation's acquisition of ColorMatrix Group for US$486 million.

Ana María acts as secretary to the board of directors for many of the Firm's clients, to which she provides advice in connection with a range of corporate matters.

Ana María also maintains a pro bono practice.
