Paul Stancil joins Jones Day's Business & Tort Litigation Practice in Dallas
Paul Stancil has joined Jones Day as of counsel in its Business & Tort Litigation Practice. He is based in the Firm's Dallas Office.
Mr. Stancil is an experienced litigator and legal scholar who focuses on complex civil litigation, with particular depth in antitrust, trade secret, and general commercial disputes. He has served as trial counsel in numerous matters in U.S. federal courts and Texas state courts, including a notable role as co-lead counsel in successful antitrust litigation in the hospitality industry. Mr. Stancil brings a distinctive combination of courtroom experience and academic credentials, having served as a tenured professor of law for more than 15 years, where he has taught courses in antitrust law, civil procedure, evidence, and federal courts.

He will collaborate with Jones Day litigators in Dallas and around the globe on complex commercial litigation and antitrust matters.

Mr. Stancil earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Antitrust Law at the SMU Dedman School of Law.
