Jones Day's David Kiernan named "Top Antitrust Lawyer" by The Daily Journal
Jones Day's Partner-in-Charge of Northern California and accomplished trial lawyer David Kiernan has been named to The Daily Journal's list of "Top Antitrust Lawyers" for a fourth consecutive year, which "recognizes attorneys who specialize in antitrust litigation."
Mr. Kiernan's selection was based on multiple high-profile representations of prominent global companies. His recent achievements include securing dismissal without leave to amend at the pleading stage as lead trial counsel for Alphabet and Google in a putative antitrust class action filed by website developers challenging Google's license restrictions related to the use of Google digital-mapping products, and winning a dismissal of competitor antitrust claims alleging tying, attempted monopolization, bundling, and below-cost pricing related to interoperability with SAP's ERP and process mining tools as lead trial counsel for SAP.
Mr. Kiernan is also ranked by Chambers, and in 2024, Forbes named him to the "America's Top 200 Lawyers" list.
