Koren Wong-Ervin has more than 20 years of experience in government, private practice, and as in-house counsel, including representing defendants and plaintiffs in high-stakes litigations and representing companies in domestic and foreign merger and conduct investigations. While at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Koren served as an Attorney Advisor to a Commissioner and as Counsel for Intellectual Property & International Antitrust. She is a recognized thought leader who has testified before Congress on domestic and international antitrust issues.

The combination of Koren's experience representing defendants, along with her experience at the FTC and as a former plaintiffs class action lawyer, gives her insights into the thinking on both sides of cases, allowing her to develop effective offensive and defensive strategies. Her in-house experience as the Director of Antitrust Litigation & Policy at a major technology company gives her a first-hand understanding of how companies work and unique insight into the needs of clients. Koren also has a deep understanding of economics and has trained more than 500 foreign judges and enforcers on a variety of economic topics.

Koren's scholarship has been cited by courts and the Department of Justice (DOJ). She has authored more than 70 articles and spoken at more than 300 domestic and international events.

Since 2009, Koren has held numerous leadership positions within the ABA Antitrust Section, currently serving as a member of the Section's governing council. Her prior positions include co-chair of the U.S. Policy & Comments Task Force and editorial board member of the Section's two-volume Antitrust Law Developments treatise. She is also a senior researcher at George Washington University's Institute of Public Policy.
