Andrew Simpson is a commercial litigator practicing in the United Kingdom, with a focus on disputes in the energy, resources, and construction sectors. He has particular experience advising on large-scale and complex project disputes.
Andrew's recent experience includes acting for: a first-tier international engineering and construction firm in a billion dollar dispute in relation to the construction of liquid natural gas infrastructure; global real estate investors against major UK contractors concerning fire safety defects at various properties in London; an international contractor in arbitration proceedings concerning a port project; a joint venture contractor regarding the construction of a coal handling and preparation plant and train load out facility; and a national contractor in relation to the construction of a feed mill facility.
Andrew also served as an associate to a Queensland Supreme Court Justice.
