Carrie O'Connor is dedicated to Jones Day's Border Project, which provides access to legal information and representation to individuals seeking asylum or other related forms of protection.
Before rejoining Jones Day in 2026, Carrie served as a law clerk to Judge Nancy G. Abudu of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Additionally, she was a Robert L. Bernstein Fellow in South Korea at Duroo-Association for Public Interest Law and a Justice Catalyst Fellow at the Texas Civil Rights Project. Prior to law school, she worked with immigrant communities as an outreach coordinator and advocate at the Urban Justice Center's Safety Net Project and as a member of AmeriCorps VISTA in a local public health department in Oregon.
