Trisha Mowbray has extensive experience in the areas of real estate private equity and general commercial real estate. Her primary emphasis is on the representation of sponsors and investors in the formation of and investment in U.S. and non-U.S. real estate private equity platforms, joint ventures, funds, separate accounts, and other varieties of collective and bespoke investment vehicles. In addition, Trisha represents clients in secondary transactions, preferred equity investments, and other recapitalization matters. Before focusing on real estate private equity and the capital structure of transactions, Trisha gained significant experience with general commercial real estate matters, including leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions and management of real estate assets for the Firm's Fortune 500 clients. Having these skills equips Trisha with a unique advantage to guide clients through the varied demands and complexities of real estate and real estate-related corporate transactions in the United States and in other markets.
Trisha works regularly with clients such as Greystar Real Estate Partners, CBRE Global Investors, LaSalle Investment Management, NW1 Investors, Stonemont Financial Group, Henderson Park Capital Managers, StepStone Real Estate Group, and Transwestern Investment Group.
Prior to attending law school, Trisha served as assistant public information officer for New Hanover County, North Carolina, acting as a liaison between local media outlets and the county government. She is a member of the Chicago Public Library Foundation's board of directors and is the hiring partner for the Jones Day Chicago Office.
