Kari Lorentson focuses her practice on appellate advocacy and complex civil litigation, and she has drafted briefs filed at all levels of the federal courts.
Before joining Jones Day in 2025, Kari served as a law clerk to Justice Amy Coney Barrett of the Supreme Court of the United States. She also practiced law at a firm in Washington, D.C. and served as a law clerk to Judge Michael Scudder of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and Judge Gerald Pappert of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
