Peter Young Kim represents clients in intellectual property matters focusing on patent litigation disputes.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Peter clerked at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Peter also worked at a national law firm where he assisted clients on matters related to advertising, financial services, telecommunications, and consumer protections.

While in law school, Peter wrote two comments discussing autonomous vehicles' artificial intelligence as well as space warfare that were later published respectively in the Catholic University Law Review and University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law. In 2020, Peter and his teammate won first place in the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel (ACEBC) Nell Hennessy Moot Court Competition.
