Harrison Cant advises a diverse range of clients, including ASX-listed entities and global corporates, on complex, multijurisdictional intellectual property disputes and transactions. Harrison has experience in a variety of sectors, including health care, pharmaceuticals, technology, energy and resources, travel, entertainment, and manufacturing.

Harrison's recent experience includes acting for an Australian manufacturer in relation to a patent dispute, acting for global health care and technology companies in various trademark oppositions, and acting for an electronic gaming company in parallel Australian and U.S. proceedings regarding allegations of breach of confidence (trade secret breach) and copyright infringement. Harrison also has experience acting for clients in regulatory investigations and general commercial litigation.

In addition to contentious matters, Harrison advises clients on intellectual property issues in large and complex transactions, including M&A and private equity investments. Harrison also has advised clients on the prosecution of trademarks, the protection of intellectual property rights, and on regulatory compliance, including data privacy compliance.

Harrison is currently the minutes secretary of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Law Council of Australia.
