Dominic Cruciani represents clients in their most important and complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts and in alternative dispute resolution forums. Dominic's practice focuses on commercial litigation, including business torts, antitrust law, trade secret misappropriation, employment disputes, construction defects, and energy litigation involving oil, gas, and renewable energy. He also advises clients in navigating legal issues before the need for litigation arises.
In addition, Dominic is dedicated to meaningful pro bono matters and was recently appointed by a federal judge to second-chair a criminal jury trial and appeal involving a defendant facing up to five life sentences.
Before joining Jones Day in 2026, Dominic worked for a global law firm and clerked for Judge Reed O'Connor and Judge Mark Pittman, both in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division. In college, Dominic was a four-year letterman on the Texas Longhorn football team as a fullback.
Dominic is an active leader in the community. He currently serves as chairman of the Liberty Leadership Council (LLC), which promotes thoughtful dialogue on key policy issues, networking, and community engagement for young professionals. He was named the 2025 Texas Leader of the Year by LLC. Dominic is a thought leader in the technology sector and regularly authors articles and presents on the intersection of law and artificial intelligence and other technological innovations.
