Chris Erlinger has extensive experience representing clients in class action and complex employment litigation in state and federal courts across the country. He handles cases arising under state and federal wage and hour and antidiscrimination laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
In addition to representing employers in litigation, Chris advises corporate clients on a variety of labor and employment issues, including sensitive investigations, reductions in force, wage and hour compliance, and risk mitigation.
Chris maintains a robust transactional practice and has advised on labor and employment matters in hundreds of domestic and international transactions. His transactional experience includes advising Parker Hannifin Corporation in the $9.25 billion acquisition of Filtration Group Corporation and VSE Corporation in the $2.025 billion acquisition of Precision Aviation Group.
His pro bono portfolio includes representing individuals in asylum proceedings through the Firm's Border Project, representing wrongfully convicted individuals through the Innocence Project, and counseling and representing nonprofit organizations on labor and employment matters.
