H.I.G. Capital enters joint venture to acquire 16-building Manhattan and Brooklyn portfolio

Client(s) H.I.G Capital, LLC

Jones Day represented H.I.G. Capital, LLC, in its joint venture with Stone Street Properties, a real estate investment firm, to acquire a 16-building Manhattan and Brooklyn portfolio composed of 300 residential units for $73 million.

With this acquisition, Stone Street has almost doubled its holdings, now owning approximately 750 units across 28 buildings citywide. Properties in Manhattan are located primarily in Murray Hill, on the Upper East Side and in the East Village, and the Brooklyn properties are located at 354-356 State Street in Downtown Brooklyn.
