Matt Jones counsels public and private borrowers, private equity sponsors, and lenders in complex financing transactions, with an emphasis on transactions involving energy, infrastructure, and other capital-intensive industries. He advises clients on the financing aspects of domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and other business combinations, including numerous transactions involving valuations in excess of $1 billion.
Matt represents clients in relation to structuring, negotiating, and documenting all types of syndicated lending transactions; acquisition financings; asset-based lending facilities; reserve-based lending transactions; revolving loans; and term loans. In addition, Matt has significant experience in connection with transactions in the debt capital markets.
Matt is a member of the Energy Bar Association and participates in events with the Texas General Counsel Forum.
