Carly Roessler represents employers in a variety of complex labor and employment matters, including reductions in force, employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. Her practice also includes advising on a range of employment issues, such as employment agreements, litigation avoidance, internal investigations and audits, human resources policies, and diversity and inclusion.

In addition, Carly has experience conducting internal investigations and counseling clients on compliance-related issues. A fluent Spanish speaker, she has experience investigating matters for companies with operations in Latin America.

Carly also maintains an active pro bono practice through her involvement in Jones Day's Border Project. To date, she has been a member of three trial teams representing asylum seekers from Latin America.

While in law school, Carly was a student attorney in the Michigan Law Entrepreneurship Clinic, where she represented entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small businesses in corporate and intellectual property legal matters. She also completed a legal externship at Family Law Project, where she assisted clients with temporary restraining orders, divorces, and child custody issues.
