Rebecca Harding

Rebecca Harding's practice focuses on resolving construction, infrastructure, and energy disputes. Rebecca has represented contractors, owners, and developers in public and private projects, predominantly in the energy, power, and major infrastructure sectors.

Rebecca has experience in all major forms of dispute resolution, particularly international arbitration. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Rebecca represented a contractor in a multibillion euro ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) arbitration in defense of claims arising from material breach and delay with respect to an EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) contract for the construction and operation of a nuclear power plant; advised a major multinational offshore wind farm developer in claims against a supplier arising out of defects with values of multiple billions of euros across a portfolio of international projects; and advised a UK developer in relation to fire defects claims arising out of the construction of a portfolio of residential developments in the United Kingdom.

Before joining Jones Day, Rebecca also served six months on a secondment to the commercial legal team at Heathrow Airport Limited.

Rebecca is coauthor of the 5,000-word research article "Procurement and contracting for climate change data and digital solutions," which was published in Proceedings of the Institution of Civil Engineers - Civil Engineering (2023), Volume 176, Issue 6: 36-42.
