Julian Bailey is a construction lawyer, based in London, with a global construction and arbitration practice. His practice covers fields of industry including power, infrastructure, oil & gas, industrial technology, transport, defense, and commercial building.
Julian was chairman of the Society of Construction Law (UK), the leading industry body for construction law, in 2015-2016.
He is the author of Construction Law (4th ed., 2024), a three-volume general text on construction law as it applies in England, Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore, with an international outlook.
Julian is a visiting professor at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London and a Fellow of the International Academy of Construction Lawyers.
