ResMed secures dismissal of patent-infringement litigation brought by NYU involving medical devices for treating sleep apnea

Jones Day represented ResMed Corp. ("ResMed") in patent infringement litigation in the U. S. District Court for the District of Delaware, where New York University ("NYU") asserted seven patents related to medical devices for treating sleep apnea. After NYU's patent claims were held unpatentable in a parallel inter partes review before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the district court dismissed all claims against ResMed.
