Jones Day partner Anna Dwyer named a Rising Star in GlobeSt.'s 2026 Women of Influence Awards
Anna Dwyer, a partner in the Firm's Real Estate Practice, was named a "Rising Star" by GlobeSt. as part of its Women of Influence Awards. The awards recognize women who drive the commercial real estate industry forward. Ms. Dwyer's practice spans joint ventures, financing, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions for mixed-use, retail, office, multifamily, industrial, and unimproved real estate. She represents real estate investment management firms, digital infrastructure providers, public and private institutions, and national lenders, providing cradle-to-closing counsel on deal structuring, documentation, negotiation, and risk allocation. Just a few highlights of Ms. Dwyer's career include:
- Representing one of the world's leading real estate investment managers in a strategic joint venture with a publicly traded REIT to acquire and operate a portfolio of stabilized multifamily communities across three states;
- Co-leading the Jones Day team that represented CBRE Investment Management Indirect in the acquisition of a material interest in a portfolio of retail assets valued at more than $1 billion; and
- Guiding a leading provider of data center, cloud, and interconnection services through the acquisition and financing of its headquarters, a mission-critical transaction at the intersection of real estate and digital infrastructure.
Ms. Dwyer actively supports education, mentoring, and civic engagement through several organizations. Within her alumni community, Ms. Dwyer serves as an alumni mentor for the Pritzker Northwestern School of Law Pre-Law Academy and on the Pritzker Northwestern School of Law Reunion Committee, helping coordinate fundraising initiatives and event organization to strengthen alumni networks and support the school's ongoing growth. She has participated in "Working in the Schools (WITS)," partnering with Chicago Public Schools to help students build reading skills and expand future opportunities.
