Basell Orlen Polyolefins sells low-density polyethylene business and assets to PKN Orlen

Jones Day advised LyondellBasell on the sale by its 50/50 joint venture Basell Orlen Polyolefins ("BOP") of the business and assets related to the production and sale of low density polyethylene ('"LDPE") to its joint venture partner PKN Orlen S.A. The acquired production capacity is 100 thousand tonnes per year, which covers about a third of Poland's overall demand for the plastic.
