EDF acquires 50% of Orange Concessions

Jones Day acted as antitrust counsel to EDF Invest on the merger control/antitrust aspects of its acquisition (together with the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) and the Caisse Nationale de Prévoyance (CNP)) of 50% of the capital and voting rights of Orange Concessions which is active in the roll out of fiber in France in less densely populated areas. The target is currently wholly-owned by Orange S.A., which would keep 50% of the shares following the transaction.
