Jones Day provided assistance to Banco BPM S.p.A. and MPS Capital Services Banca per le Imprese S.p.A. in relation to the drafting, negotiation, and execution of a facility agreement granted to Immobiliare Grande Distribuzione Società di Investimento Immobiliare Quotata S.p.A. for the refinancing of the purchase of a portfolio of hypermarket properties located in Italy. The transaction entailed the contribution of the portfolio and the assignment of the relevant financial indebtedness to an Italian alternative real estate investment fund managed by Savills Investment Management SGR S.p.A., with transfer of 60% of the fund's units to a subsidiary of ICG - Intermediate Capital Group.
