Jones Day is assisting a packaged foods company in responding to a pre-suit demand submitted by a shareholder. The shareholder demanded that the company's board of directors initiate litigation on behalf of the company against current and former directors and officers relating to alleged violations of the federal securities laws relating to a merger.
