Staffing company voluntarily dismissed from False Claims Act case

Jones Day represented a staffing company in a false claims act case filed in the Eastern District of Texas. After review of the complaint and conversations with our client's employees, Jones Day successfully persuaded the relators’ counsel that the company did not have any relevant knowledge and should thus not have been named in the case. The United States and various plaintiff states consented to the dismissal without prejudice, which was subsequently granted by the court.
