Jones Day represented CARMAT SA, a designer and developer of the world's most advanced heart project, aiming to provide a therapeutic alternative for people suffering from end-stage biventricular heart failure, in connection with its €52.9 million (US$62.3 million) capital increase implemented without shareholders’ preferential subscription rights by way of a public offering and with a priority subscription period, on an irreducible basis only, to existing shareholders.
