Jones Day advised Deutsche Equities India Private Limited, Edelweiss Securities Limited, ICICI Securities Limited, and SBICAP Securities Limited, as placement agents, in connection with the Government of India's (GOI) US$63 million (INR 4 billion) Offer for Sale of Equity Shares of Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), India's only vertically integrated copper producer. The transaction represented a divestment of 6.83% of the GOI's equity stake in HCL.
