German manufacturer wins against overtime and salary claims brought by works council

Jones Day successfully represented a Germany-based international manufacturer in five labor court litigation cases initiated by its works council over one and a half years over multiple overtime and salary claims. After a motion to remove one of the members from the works council, we were able to negotiate a mutually agreeable settlement for all parties.
