Brookfield Asset Management acquires portfolio of office and industrial sites for $854.5 million

Client(s) Brookfield Asset Management Inc.

Jones Day advised Brookfield Asset Management Inc. in its $854.5 million acquisition of a portfolio of office and industrial sites. The portfolio consisted of 45 office and industrial sites in 12 states totaling about 8.6 million square feet. The acquisition was funded, in part, by financing secured by the portfolio, with respect to which Jones Day also advised Brookfield.
