Client(s) Apax Partners Midmarket SAS

Jones Day represented Apax Partners Midmarket SAS, together with Fortino Capital, in connection with the financing of its acquisition of Melita, the main cable operator for converged telecommunications services in Malta. The financing consisted of senior and second lien debt where senior facilities were provided by BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV, Raiffesen Bank International AG, and ING Bank, a branch of ING-DiBaAG and the second lien bonds were subscribed by funds advised by Bluebay Capital Management.
